ABOUT ELIE & EARLSFERRY VILLAGES

Sailing Club fife Scotland view

The villages of Elie and Earlsferry are situated on the north coast of the Firth of Forth,Scotland in a popular holiday area known as the East Neuk of Fife. The villages are jointly an historic Royal Burgh.

Today they are a very popular destination for holidaymakers and yachtsmen. Between them Elie and Earlsferry have 5 sandy beaches and the main harbour beach is a Blue Flag beach.

As a visitor you may wish to enjoy the four local pubs, restaurants and shops, including a well-stocked licensed deli and B&Bs. If, feeling energetic you could visit The Lady’s Tower, do the local part of the Fife Coastal Walk, hire a mountain bike from the local sailing school to explore the local area, or try the Chain Walk. The village also has an excellent “pay to play” 9-hole golf course and tennis courts, located at the Sports Pavilion.

The club works closely with the adjacent sailing school, Elie Watersports, sharing some facilities. Here you can get RYA approved tuition for dinghy sailing, windsurfing and power boating. The sailing school also offers hire facilities for mountain bikes, pleasure boats, inflatable rides, buoyancy aids and wetsuits.
