Organising Powerboat cruising in a Group.
- This might be a Cruise to Shell Bay, Lower Largo, Leven, Anstruther, Isle of May, North Berwick or even further a field.
- These cruises will take place with weather conditions in mind, and will take into the full consideration of type of craft that turn out to this event.
- Our main goal is to promote a safe environment for Novices & Experienced people to enjoy, cruising in a group has the many benefits; although the main advantages is the ability to provide “self-rescue”
- You do not need a boat to come along on one of these cruises, as long as you let us know in advance we will try our best to arrange a place onboard a participating craft.
General Advice
- In the Club we have many years of experience in all types of sailing, we would like to pass some of this on to new/existing members. This could be how to fix that niggling problem or even what type of boat/craft you might require.
Apart from the above, the Power Section has two full committee members on the Sailing Club committee who will represent the Power interests within the Club. This will ensure that the power boaters’ interests are represented.
If you want to be a part of this new exciting prospect in the club why not contact us today so we can keep you informed. Email: powerboating@eesc.org.uk or leave a message on 01333 388 086.
